About LoneStarMusic.org
We, at LoneStarMusic.org, are working musicians who understand what working musicians need, in church, in school, at the gig. It doesn’t matter to us if that be a long term need, or, you need it in ten minutes; from rehearsal trax for solo, duet, or multiple voicings, to full scoring of original materials; whether you are short an instrumental part to a major work and need it NOW—LoneStarMusic.org musicians can accommodate your requests.
Do you need a place to: advertise your upcoming concerts and events; go eat after your event; sell your latest cd; meet other musicians in your area? LoneStarMusic.org can do that for you.
Our motto: LoneStarMusic.org can do that for you.
About Richard KeithRichard enjoys performing. He is a talented musician. He plays a variety of musical styles and genres, ranging from easy listening, light jazz, country, pop, rock 'n roll, to gospel and Christian music. Born in La Crosse, WI, Richard grew up in southern Minnesota, went to school in Los Angeles, CA., and currently lives in Houston, Texas. Music performance and arranging has always had an important place in his life from the time he was young. Richard along with his brothers played piano and an ad hoc string ensemble around the house as well as sang in church from the earliest years. For 30+ years, Richard has produced, directed, and arranged music for 100’s of church and civic productions from gospel and contemporary music to classical. Currently, Richard Keith is Director of the Music Ministry for St. Francis Episcopal Church, Houston, TX.
About Reggie KeithUnlike his brother, Reggie does not really enjoy musical performance and has pursued a career in education. As a talented arranger, he enjoys listening to (but does not play) a variety of musical styles and genres ranging from chorales, easy listening, jazz, contemporary, and latin beat, to rock 'n roll, gospel, and the ethnic and world beat of Christian folkmusic found throughout the world. Reggie has been fortunate to know many fine musicians and world class instrumentalists through the years... and yet never aspired to play. After all, why compete when you have a brother like Rick who is by far the most talented and versatile keyboard technician he knows? Thankfully, amid Rick's busy schedule, he's still only a phone call away. Many who work for Reggie's International Scholars & Associates also happen to be talented musicians recognized in their countries. Born in Windom, MN, Reggie also grew up in chilly southern Minnesota, but thawed out at schools in Los Angeles, CA. where he currently lives. Since his earliest college days, Reggie was often queried why he preferred music of the Church. If you want to know the answer, you'll have to ask. Generally speaking, music has not held an important place in his life though, from a young age, the brothers already were accompanying the Lutheran congregation and directing choirs in seventh and eigth grades. Since his earliest years, Reggie has always preferred unaccompanied choral music to instruments. He remembers playing "Arise My Soul Arise" as a postlude one Sunday many years ago only to find out his grandfather had passed on by the time the Service was over. He has an undergraduate degree in Church Music from the University of Southern California and holds a Masters in Education. Since February 1990, Reggie has pounded piano keys during the Sunday Service for Dr. Gene Scott. He still plays at the Los Angeles University Cathedral, Los Angeles, CA. for Pastor Scott. Presently, he is auditioning singers for a community chorus in Los Angeles called: The L.A. Choir. ![]()
